Hello and welcome to my website.  My name is Janette Butler-Grech, please call me Jenny. 

After enjoying a career for over 20 years as PA to the Chairman of a Textile mill, who also delved into the production of Gospel concerts Australia wide, my experience co-ordinating these events was most exhilarating and very much people orientated.  

I realized I had a flair for meeting and mixing with people and subsequently I chose to change my career path and become a celebrant.

It has been my privilege and pleasure to officiate at the marriages of many happy couples; helping them to create and enjoy their perfect marriage ceremony.  I would be delighted to help you with yours. 

I have been registered as a marriage celebrant by the Registrar of Marriage Celebrants, Attorney General’s Department and my registration number is A7855.

As an authorized Civil Marriage Celebrant, I am bound by the Code of Practice.  Under this Code of Practice, I strive to maintain a high standard of service, respecting the privacy and confidentiality of my clients, making every effort to ensure my clients are given all relevant information and guidance to enable them to choose and with my help, customize a marriage ceremony that will meet their needs and expectations.

 In my capacity as a celebrant, I also officiate at Baby Naming ceremonies, Re-affirmation ceremonies, Special Occasions and Commitment ceremonies.

Although my home is in the Sutherland Shire, where there are many beautiful venues to hold your “special” ceremony, I am prepared to travel to the venue of your choice.

Using State-of-the-Art PA system which has a built in CD player, it is ensured all your guests will hear every word and the music of your choice can be played and enjoyed no matter where your ceremony is held.  Being a wireless pa system it is unobtrusive and is placed on a stand well out of the way. I also have an extra microphone for the use of people wishing to read or speak at your ceremony. 

I am proud to have been accepted as a member of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Incorporated.  As a member of this association, I am given up to date information pertaining to my celebrancy services and this keeps me at the forefront of trends.

Serving as a Justice of  the Peace since 1981, I have an understanding of the importance of conformity with respect to legal documentation, and this knowledge is applied to my compliance with the Marriage Act 1961 requirements.  I am also a member of the Women Justices’ Association of NSW,  having served on their executive committee in various positions over the years.
