Realising the importance of the “connection” with your celebrant, let me tell you a little about myself.

After enjoying a career for over 20 years as PA to a company Chairman,  who also delved into the production of Gospel concerts Australia wide, my experience co-ordinating these events was most exhilarating and very much people orientated.

Life’s commitments of family, voluntary work and hobbies, with the interest of extensive overseas travel have all added to my experience and my love of meeting and mixing with people. 

Respecting different cultures and attempting to understand even further I have tried to familiarize myself with languages.  I am happy to say I can converse, and understand the Arabic language, (admittedly with an Aussie twang, as I was born and bred in Australia).   Perhaps this may be of assistance to you.

 I have been registered as a professional marriage celebrant by the Registrar of Marriage Celebrants, Attorney General’s Department.

Serving as a Justice of the Peace since 1981, I have an understanding of the importance of conformity with respect to legal documentation, and this knowledge is applied to my compliance with the Marriage Act 1961 requirements.  I am also a member of the Women Justices’ Association of NSW, having served on their executive committee in various positions over the years.

I am proud to have been accepted as a member of the Association of Authorised Marriage Celebrants Australia Incorporated, as well as the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants Inc..  As a member I am given up to date information pertaining to my celebrancy services and this keeps me at the forefront of trends.
