“The Baby Naming ceremony is the occasion upon which the proud parents express their joy at becoming parents of their darling baby and take the opportunity to formally introduce him/her to their wider circle of family and friends, as well as bestowing upon their baby his/her chosen names.”

Let me help you to create a happy, caring and personal baby naming ceremony for your precious little one. We will acknowledge the importance and input of the parents, the godparents/guardians/mentors and grandparents in the life of your child. All participants are then given an opportunity to make an official commitment to your child, using their own words or words or thoughts compiled by myself. I have a collection of applicable poetry and readings for you to choose from if you wish, or perhaps you may wish to write your own. (May I say here I was proud and most happy to have composed a poem especially for a baby for whom I was privileged to conduct her naming ceremony).

Your Child’s Naming ceremony will be their unique ceremony, personalized and designed to suit your requirements and traditions. It can further be embellished by the use of rituals, eg. Naming Candle etc.. all of which I am happy to elaborate upon. You choose the venue, the size of the ceremony and rest assured I have the PA system to enable everyone to hear the whole ceremony. I can also arrange to play your selection of music on the CD player which comes with this system.

A beautifully prepared Naming Certificate and “Thank You Certificates” are then presented at the end of the ceremony, these are souvenirs of your Baby’s Naming Day and serve to remind the recipients of their commitments to your child.
