Multicultural Weddings

#Multicultural Weddings #Highlighting and Celebrating Different #Cultures

Unity Candle Ceremony

None of the marriage ceremonies I conduct are alike!
After all, we are individuals, having our own personalities, differing in cultures, traditions, beliefs, values and principles.

I say…. Remain true to your #Heritage and celebrate this most important milestone in your lives the way you want to; making it a true reflection of yourselves and the traditions you hold dear.

I believe I have a flair for writing your unique marriage ceremony, indeed any life milestone celebration ceremony; be it a #Traditional and #Cultural Marriage Ceremony, #Same-Sex Marriage Ceremony, #Naming Ceremony or #Renewal of Vows Ceremony. To this end, I research and my years of experience marrying couples from all walks of life, diverse Cultures and ethnic Backgrounds; different life situations, blended families and couples in their Autumn years all contribute to a better understanding and insight into the customisation of your special celebration of love and commitment or Milestone occasion.

I respect and highlight your preferences. If you wish your cultural and traditional rituals can be incorporated within your ceremony, and in doing so, all those present, regardless of their upbringing, beliefs or background will understand the significance and symbolism of the ritual being enacted, as progressively I will explain the meaning, the significance and the outcome. Thereby your celebration ceremony, inclusive of your individual preferences will be enjoyed and appreciated by all and valued as an acknowledgment of who you are and your heritage.

Chinese Tea Ceremony to thank parents of bride and groom

I must say here the ceremonies I conduct as a Civil celebrant are not religious but, if desired, can have a distinctive cultural orientation, be it Chinese, Jewish, Slovenian, Greek, Italian to name just a few; leading to an acceptance and recognition of your identity, individuality and the gift of who you are.

FYI.. We can therefore have a legal civil marriage ceremony, incorporating diversified cultural traditions such as some of the following ceremonies I have conducted
#Jewish style weddings under the #Chuppah,

Family Wedding under the Chuppah

#Greek style weddings enacting the #Stefana ceremony.
#Handfasting joining ceremony, the welcoming #Bread and Salt ceremony and the respectful #Chinese Tea Ceremony to name just a few.
My aim is to deliver whatever is special to you, contact jenny@celebrant4you.com.au
